Features

• Uses Bar Code tool to read and grade bar codes
• Finds and decodes advanced 2D and 1D linear bar codes
  • Standard BCR model (640 x 480 pixels) reads 2D Data Matrix ECC200 and PDF 417 (available soon), and 1D linear codes such as Code 39, Code 128, Codabar, Interleaved 2 of 5, EAN-8 and EAN-13 (supports UPC-A).
  • High-resolution BCR 1.3 model (1280 x 1024 pixels) features 1.3 megapixel imaging that reads and grades smaller bar codes in larger field of views.

Objective:
To read 1D and 2D bar codes printed on labels affixed to medicine bottles

Description:
Medicine bottle labels include both a linear and a 2-dimensional bar code. The PresencePLUS P4 BCR reads both types simultaneously to verify that they are correct.

Bar Code Verification on a Cell Phone Component

Objective:
To verify the 2-dimensional bar code on a cell phone component

Description:
The PresencePLUS P4 BCR bar code reader reads and verifies the small 2D bar code affixed to a component of a cell phone.
